She’s a warm companion, a comfort when I’m uncomfortable. She is always available and ready to give. She’s economical and flexible. Without uttering a word, she understands.
When I get up in the morning and make my way to the computer, she stands ready there. I don’t even have to greet her with pleasantries. I just grab the remote and push a button and she immediately responds with her warmth. My temperature sensitivity caused by MS makes what she has to offer invaluable. I’m glad we’ve spent another winter together. With the warmer weather, we must part ways for awhile.
She might be just a machine, but I see her as so much more and consider her a friend. My friend, EdenPURE, the infrared heater.
I am so glad this winter is coming to a close. It has been too long and too cold. Perhaps the sun can warm us for a while.
Years ago, my Dad said to me “the older I get, the more I feel the cold”. I understand now; the older we get, the harder the winters feel.
I totally understand. We have a gas fireplace, and it is my daytime buddy. At night I use down comforters. And I have a corn bag that, well, we are inseparable when I hurt.
You have a way of making me feel normal, Pat. I sure wonder how people survived before the conveniences we have.
