Moments in Time – Eleanor

I’ve written about her here before. I respected and adored her and felt accepted and loved by my grandmother-in-law.  She lived to the age of 93, long enough to see her children have children, and to know and love some great-grandchildren; and for them to be privileged to know her.

When I saw this picture of her with her sons, it started me thinking about other photos.

36- 1936

So I searched out and found these….

44- Eleanor (2)  63a- 1987 Aug

A little cropping and tweaking, and together we have ….

Eleanor with son,    Eleanor with grandson, and Eleanor with great-grandson.

36a- 1936  44- Eleanor (4)  63a (3)

Moments in time, enjoyed in the moment and captured to enjoy years later. When put together, they tell a story.

Eleanor had enough love to span three generations.

What a fantastic collection of photographs and memories you have – and also the ability to write beautifully about them
