Christmas is always a special time. I had a favorite angel to top off our tree, but one year our child had made an angel he was proud of and there was no question what would finish off our family’s Christmas tree that year. When it was time for it to be placed, his father gave him a lift as shown here in this photo.
It was nearing Christmas when I saw that picture a couple of years back. I decided it might be fun to reenact it 17 years later. Here’s what we ended up with.
Looking at them together was entertaining.
We didn’t stop there though, we thought it would be fun to do a role reversal. The comparison looks like this.
We had fun the day we decorated the tree back in 1996, and then again in 2011 as we reenacted that day.
